The Rock on Postcard

Hey Art Lovers!

I'm thrilled to share a sneak peek of my latest artwork – a detailed graphite drawing of Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, all done on a postcard! 🎨✨ Here's a quick look at my process:

  • Reference: Found the perfect image capturing his powerful presence.

  • Planar Method: Laid the proportions using a 2H pencil.

  • Shading: Using 2 mm mechanical clutch pencil. Started with a 2B lead for shadows, then an HB lead for mid-tones, using the paper for highlights

  • No Blending: Achieved a raw, organic look with graphite, letting the postcard's texture add a unique touch.
